Yes — coastal shipping between Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Lyttelton, Nelson, Timaru and Bluff is one of our core services. We arrange single TEU through to full vessel charters and combine sea with road or rail to reach inland destinations.

Can you handle both 20ft and 40ft containers, including refrigerated units?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We move 20ft and 40ft dry containers, high-cubes, flat-racks, open-tops and reefer containers. Tell us the cargo type and required temperature range when requesting a quote.

Do you arrange door-to-door including road cartage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can pick up from your site, arrange port handling, sea freight and final delivery — a single point of contact from collection to consignee.

Do you handle imports as well as exports?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we arrange freight forwarding both into and out of New Zealand to and from any global port, including consolidation, customs documentation and onward delivery.

Do you handle customs clearance for imports?

Accepted Answer

We coordinate customs clearance and biosecurity (MPI) requirements with our trusted broker partners so your cargo clears the wharf without delay.

Can you arrange RoRo for heavy machinery like excavators?

Accepted Answer

Yes. RoRo (roll-on roll-off) is often the most cost-effective option for excavators, tractors, cranes and other self-propelled or trailerable plant. For oversized or non-rolling items we arrange break-bulk lift-on/lift-off.

Is there a maximum size or weight you can move?

We've moved cargo from a single pallet up to oversized industrial plant. Provide dimensions and weight, and we'll match the right vessel, lifting equipment and route.

How long does trans-Tasman vehicle shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Transit time is typically 7–14 days port-to-port between New Zealand and Australia, depending on the route and sailing schedule. We'll confirm the next available sailing when we quote.

Can you ship classic, modified or non-running vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have experience with classic cars, project vehicles and non-runners, and arrange the right method (container, RoRo or break-bulk) to suit the vehicle's condition and value.

How do I get a freight quote and what info do you need?

Send us the origin and destination, cargo description, dimensions and weight (or container size), and your required timeframe. The more detail, the faster and more accurate the quote.

Are you tied to a specific shipping line?

No. We're fully independent — not owned by or aligned with any shipping line. That means we tender your freight across carriers and modes to find the lowest-cost solution that meets your timeline.

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

For coastal and trans-Tasman sailings we recommend at least 1–2 weeks' notice; for international and oversized cargo, 3–4 weeks gives the best rates and choice of sailings. Urgent freight can often still be accommodated — call us.
